Returns and Damages

Need to exchange a product?

To exchange an item you purchased, simply wait for the returns authorisation number to be emailed to you, post the item (complete with a copy of the returns authorisation email) back to us. After completing the returns process, you will receive a store credit by email which you can then use as payment for any item you select from the online store. Please note that we do not issue refunds for shipping costs.

Damaged Products

Should you have a problem with an order being damaged or defective, you will need to raise a damages claim.

  1. Log in, then go to My Account.
  2. Go to Completed Orders, then click Return Item(s) next to your item.
  3. Fill out the following items on the return request:
    • Quantity to return
    • Return reason
    • Comments optional
    • Click Submit Return Request.

After submitting the request, you will be emailed a Returns Request notification from us.  Please reply to this with images of the product and the packaging if the product is damaged in any way.  Please note that you will NEED to include images of the product and the packaging on any claim you raise. We cannot process damage claims submitted in any other means than through our online form. Claims submitted by email may be rejected or disregarded.

All damage claims are processed by means of an online damages form. Once submitted, we will ensure your claim is processed within 3 working days and a resolution to the problem offered.

No returns will be accepted unless a damages/returns form has been completed online and the return authorized by our Customer Services team. No damages form will be processed for collected goods without images of the packaging. Any unauthorized returns will be treated as miscellaneous goods and no credit will be raised for any such returns.

If a return has been approved, the goods must be returned to us in their original packaging, at your own expense.

Any products returned to us without the original packaging will be handled as carrier damaged goods and we reserve the right to reduce the amount of credit offered for the product or refuse credit altogether.

Refunds

Refunds from Oakdene Online are made in the form of a store credit. This does not have an expiration date, and will be available for your use as soon as you log back into your account. Your store credit should be treated the same as cash. You can use this in conjunction with our other special offers like FREE shipping; and any other special discounts or promotional sales that may be offered.

IMPORTANT

If a return has been approved, the goods must be returned to us in their original packaging, at your own expense. Please note that we do not refund shipping costs.
